It's been almost a week since I had any meat, and I feel good about it. Except on Thursday when my wife and son and I went for dim sum before our bike clinic, the rice-in-lotus-leaf appeared to have bacon or some other kind of meat inside, but I scraped the majority of it away.
I'm sure I ate more than this, but what I can remember off hand....

July Challenge
Hello World!
My name is Steve, and I am a meataholic.
For about 38 years I have been fuelling my body with a primarily meat-centric diet. I am about to change that. I intend to journal my journey to better health through better eating.
I don't expect to flip the switch overnight, and in fact I am actually planning to partake in some meat-tastic festivities in the coming months (Pig roast, Thanksgiving, Christmas.... Winter is coming). I look at those as things to look forward to, but by then perhaps meat will not seem to be the joy it is for me today.
This month will be one of great change. I just know it!
Thanks for reading!
